After completing her undergraduate education at the University of Colorado at Boulder, Dr. Asmus attended the University of California at Berkeley School of Optometry and received her Doctor of Optometry degree in 1990.
Dr. Asmus is currently an active member of the American Optometric Association, the California Optometric Association and Alameda-Contra Costa Counties Optometric Association. |
Her license allows her to prescribe glasses, train eye muscle deficiencies, fit contact lenses, comanage laser vision correction and treat various health conditions of the eye, including foreign body removal, allergy, and conjunctivitis. Her education is ongoing with seminars that keep her and her staff up to date with the latest advances in eye care.
When she is not working, Paula enjoys golf, mountain biking and spending quality time with her husband, Ron and two sons, Derrick and Alec.

Dr. Yu received her undergraduate degree at Claremont McKenna College, and her Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of California at Berkeley School of Optometry. Before joining Pt. Richmond Optometry, she externed at the Portland Veteran Affairs Hospital. Castle Family Health Clinic (in Atwater, CA), the Alameda County Medical Center's optometry clinic, and the Meredith Morgan Eye Center at UC Berkeley. She is licensed to perform full-scope optometry encompassing the treatment of glaucoma as well as specialty contact lenses fittings (including Orthokeratology and Corneal Refractive Therapy CRT).

She is currently an active member of the American Optometric Association, the California Optometric Association and is a Board member of the Redwood County Optometric Association. Dr. Yu has participated in medical mission trips, most recently to Nicaragua with VOSH International (Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity).
Although she was born and raised in Southern California, Way loves the weather and culture of the Bay Area and currently lives in Marin County. When she is not working, she enjoys cooking, hiking, and traveling with her husband and two sons.

Liberty has been in the optical field now for five years. She loves the field and the experience she continues to gain.
Selecting frames, getting to know patients, and helping each person look and feel their best is something she looks forward to everyday at work. Outside of the optical world, Liberty enjoys spending time with family, going hiking, and being in a fun, creative environment. |
